Can a realtor help a friend with a real estate contract and accept a Finders Fee from the seller? And not have to pay their broker? Or have it even go thru the broker at all?
I am considering taking a real estate class to become a realtor. I am only 21, 22 in July am I to young to be taken seriously?
I have a real estate contract that I want to get out of because the realtor is not showing my home but he wants 500.00 – A conditional withdrawel fee????
House is not being shown. Priced according to what the realtor told me – then I dropped the price 3 times and did some other work that he said would help the house to show better – unfortunately the house is not even showing.
I want to buy this bank owned property that I found. This is my first time buying a home and never used a realtor before. The home is listed for more then I want to offer buy it for, so I want to offer a lower price. I know a realtor who is really aggressive and I think he could get me the house for what I want it for. But I think there will be a few offers on this home. So would it be better if I were to just use the agent who is representing the bank and put my offer in? Would he have more power to negotiate with the bank rather then an agent not representing the bank? I’m not too sure how it works when you use a real estate agent to purchase a home that they are not listing. I know they get a 50/50 split on the commission when the home is sold. I really don’t care who I use, I just want to be able to buy the home for the price and terms I want it for.
My cousins took a major sbuject in Real Estate. I donn’t inderstand when he talk about real estate consultant realtor.
Could you genius figure it out?
I am looking to possibly purchase my grandmothers home. We are trying to determine of it is more cost effective to use a realtor or use a real estate attorney.
I’m thinking about going into the REAL ESTATE field and I would like to know the differences between a Realtor and A Real Estate Agent.
Also the pros and cons of the business.
I have to renew my real estate salesperson license. I no longer work as a realtor, but like to keep it active as I will be buying a home soon, and may decide to get back in the business in the future when the market improves. How can I park my license so it will not expire? I am in the state of Illinois and not sure how it works here.
A real estate agent told me he could help negotiate the price and get us the better deal on a newly built home. The real estate agents at the builders location says they can get me a better deal if I don’t have a realtor. Who is blowing smoke? Do I actually get a better price if I go with a realtor or without?
