I have already gather a good team of Loan broker and Real Estate Agent. But What is consider a good project for Rookie real estate developer? And is the current time good for real estate investing.
I am currently a student at Western Michigan University majoring in Business (finance) (with an emphasis on real estate) and public law.
I am studying for the LSATs now. (so that I might go into real estate law)
Is this the best way to get where i want to go?

What is the real different between a construction builder and a real estate developer? Can they be the same thing?
Also, can you be considered a developer if you only hire other construction companies to build for you instead of owning your own construction company?

I am a recent graduate of a top ten law school. I withdrew myself from being considered at BIGLAW firm, and have been trying to get into real estate development. I am studying for the bar now, but was wondering if an MS in Real Estate Development would be worth the money. I will have close to 500k to start investing; however, this is all of the money that I have, so I don’t want to blow it.
Is there any one way to do it? Do you just have to have a well paying job and just go from there? Can you major in something like Real Estate Developing or Land Development or something along those lines? I’m interested in becoming a developer for cities and such, but I’m not sure if this is realistic, and how one goes about becoming a developer. Thanks!

Im a senior in high school and plan on going to a community college for 2 yrs.and then 2yrs. at a university and major in bussiness administraion. I think while Im doing that I should intern for a big real estate place like Remax or something because I would like to learn the different areas of real estate like being an agent or flipping houses.I don’t know if I should go to Real Estate school after college or what.Any suggestions on what I should do?
