I want to buy property and sell to make profit. I dont have any money to buy any land and sell. Is it possible to get a loan from somewhere, buy the home and then sell? Or would I have to join some type of real estate learning course, or buy a kit from an infomerical?
You see shows like Million Dollar Listings where an average commission on a home is around $20k. Do they only sell a few homes a year? What does the average real estate agent make? Even if you cut that commission to $10k per home, that’s still a lot of money.

My husband and I are buying a home, and we were just looking at our Good Faith Estimate from the bank. It lists $1440 as “real estate taxes” that must be paid “outside of closing”. We are closing on September 14th — does this mean we have to save up for that, too, to pay for the 2009 tax year? And does this money get paid to the bank or directly to the IRS?
