What are all the differences between a real estate salesperson (licensed) and a Realtor? That's the only difference is paying money for a logo?

A Realtor is a real estate salesperson that has paid the National Association of Realtors dues. Ounce you have paid the dues you can officially call your self a Realtor. the term Realtor and the symbol associated with it are trademarked and can only be used by salespersons which have paid their dues to NAR.

This question can only be answered if the jurisdiction you are wondering about it known. So for example, in NY, anyone engaging in the rental and/or sales of real estate must be licensed. There are brokers and there are sales agents. Brokers are the more experienced of the two. Sales agents must work under a Broker. All must be licensed. When engaging in rentals and or sales, the title of the agent must be disclosed as a licensed real estate sales agent or broker. Realtor is an additional term used for someone who is a member of an organization such as the National Association of Realtors. Realtors must also be licensed as a sales agent or broker however.

In the United States, a Realtor is a real estate professional belonging to the National Association. This was taken from this webpage…
This distinction is probably valid in Canada as well.
