This real estate agent is in NY. They have lied about conditions in the house, they have lied about telling the seller that things need to be done before closing, and they have yelled at me and insulted me saying that I am young and I ask too many questions. I have basically had to do everything myself and they treat me in a way that they would never treat anyone else of a older age. Who do I contact?

File a complaint with the state attorney general along with the state realtors association.

Hi,
You can consult a legal professional to take an action against him if you are willing to. Checkout for some valuable tips on the matter. Good luck.

Tell them you are terminating your contract with them due to their deceit and misconduct. Then report them to the Board of Realtors for your area. You could also talk to an attorney if they won’t let you out of the deal.

That is not call discrimination, its called being rude. Cancel all you are doing with him and go through another realtor agent. Then report the other one to the state attorney generals office. Make sure you put every lie in the letter to them and everything they yelled at you about. Also, this agent must have a boss, call him (unless he is the boss). Give his boss a copy of your letter to the attorney general.
I have had to do this just last year and got fast results both ways.
