You have to get a license. Most if not all states require a certificate course before the licensing exam. You should call real estate offices and tell them that you are interested and they will answer your questions. You can ask for an informational interview. Just don’t ask for a job while you are there. Send a thank you card or note after they meet with you to thank them for their time.
