It is possible that she would have more access to potential tenants when it is time to re-rent. But you could hire her on a "one-time" basis to do that.
The main advantage to hiring an agent is when you live in another state and can not manage the house on a daily or weekly basis..

Sarasota FL Real Estate

To answer your title question: A realty office can be useful for finding a tenant. They will qualify the tenant's financial background and typically charge one month's rent to the tenant as their fee -- no cost to you.

If you're looking for property management, remember: it's your house and ultimately you'll have to deal with things. I would defer to the others' answers.

Depends whats his costs. If its little and you get at least money out of that deal, you could make it. On the other hand, if you do it by your own, you'll get more benefit out of it.

Miami Fl Real Estatelistings

well... i would suggest not to believe the agents until you make sure that they are good at service.

moreover you should not go for it... since you are living next door it would be perhaps easy for you to deal with rentals and stuff..

still if you are okay with the brokerage the real estate guy charges you and you think they are legitimate then go for it

Depends how much they charge you. I would **** to have to deal with tenants, trying to collect rent every month, fixing light bulbs, blocked toilets etc. If the agent does all that for a reasonable price, go for it.
