Many large real estate brokerages offer the real estate licensing classes you’ll need to take to prepare for the state licensing exam.
This site explains the entire process required to get licensed in Tennessee.

Same as any other state. Take a pre-licensing class, take the State licensing test, and join an office. The biggest variable is the cost. In Colorado it’s $1,000 for the class, $250. for the test and background checks, and about $900 to affiliate with a Keller Williams office. Add for business cards, signs, supplies and any equipment you think you’ll need.
If you have $5,000, a nice car and a spouse/partner with a good income you’ll have a good chance of being successful.
Talk to a few Real Estate Brokers in your area for exact details!
