How to find data for my real estate research?

I can’t remember the exact website… but it is census.gov, statistics or something like that? It lists all these things by state and zip code.
If you google things like that, you’ll get everything from local statistics on race, income, children, schools and all of the things you mentioned… Im sorry I can’t remember the exact link though, it has been a while since I used it. Sorry…
Realtor.com is an excellent site for home searching by zip code.

You’ll be able to discern who rents and who owns properties. You can even request special searches.
They have other links which you can correlate data from other sources like HUD, Freddie and Fannie too. They provide links to these as well:
