I started real estate when I was 25 (32 years ago) and remember feeling that some people did not take me seriously. But I bet that at 57 some people want someone younger than me for one reason or another. They might want a lot of things. As a salesman you will simply need to forget about any people that won’t buy from you and find as many people as you can that will buy from you. It is hard work (mentally and sometimes physically).
A lot of hours and listening to people when you may not be totally interested.

Getting a license as a broker requires you to study for the exam. It is recommended for someone who’ll be taking the exam to read real estate exam guides or take an online broker course.
