Hi, everybody.
I just started out in my real estate career, I have been licensed for more than a year but have recently started with a company. Anyways, I know that the market is bad right now but I would like some advice on how to get prospects or advice in general. What can I do to kick- start my career? I don’t want to be just another agent that tried and failed.

My advice – Sell motorcycles, not houses. House sales are WAY down, but motorcycle sales have tripled in the past 6 months. I sold 23 bikes last month, and took home over $7,000. I’m only 20.

Look for people interested in buying property since this is considered to be a buyers market. Real estate is affecting sellers more than buyers right now. More sellers are willing to give discounts.
Become a buyers agent

I’ve always heard that “listers last,” so try and get as many listings as possible.
I read somewhere that for every 50 postcards you send out monthly you’ll get one listing a year, so direct mail might be an option.
How about joining a refferal group, or any other group that would allow you to network.
Don’t be afraid to tell everyone what you do, you never know who’ll be looking for a home.
