You need to take the state board exam. You need to take a course before that.

you don’t need a degree, you need a license, go get your real estate license and you will be good to go.

You need to take a real estate course. It is not an university course. This course is needed to get your license and it is pretty expensive.

none, go to real estate classes that are offered outside colleges

All you really need is your real estate license for the state that you live. Business classes might help if you want to run your own agency.

Just get your real estate license, no degree is required. I have an aunt in florida that has never gotten her degree but has her license and makes loads of money!!!!!

No degree is needed.
You merely have to take a real estate course (criteria differs per state) and pass an exam.
Try calling a reputable agency near where you live and ask an agent for a school. In some states the course can cost as little as $200 and take only one weekend. Good luck!

You need a degree in Business Administration, or an Associate’s Degree (I guess).

You do not need a degree at all. All you need to do is study for your state exams, attend classroom training, and take the test.

None. It’s a state license. Check with your state webpage.

In Ohio, you take a licensure program for about two months. You do need an agent to sponsor you, but most of the real estate companies are always looking for agents, so it’s easy to find a sponsor.
It might be different in your state, though.

If you are just talking about becoming a Real Estate Agent, then the requirements vary by state. Many times, the local Community college has a non-credit course for Real Estate after which you have to take a state exam to get your license. Then you have to spend some time as an “Agent” before you can become a “Broker”, usually two years. You may have to pass another exam to bcome a Broker, but once you are a broker you can basically have your own Real Estate Business.

You do not have to have a degree to be a real estate agent. Not to say it wouldn’t help, but it’s not necessary. My husband is a real estate agent and he did all his schooling and testing online. It was quick and some-what easy. Here’s the link: . Good Luck!

To practice real estate you need to get a real estate license for your state. You do not need any degree. You just have to take a short class (usually 5-10 weeks) and then pass a licensing exam. Contact your state’s association of Realtors for information on taking a class and a test.
I am not sure what you mean about first working with a company and then as an independent agent. As a licensed agent, you will have to associate yourself with a real estate office (i.e. Prudential, Century 21, etc.). You will be considered a private contractor — paid on commission only — but these offices will provide some level of training. You will also be paying your expenses, such as errors and omissions insurance, advertising, etc. These “jobs” are easy to get, as real estate offices are eager to recruit more agents, and it doesn’t cost them anything. Also, if you meet with one of the offices before taking the licensing class, some will reimburse the cost of the course once you being working.
As far as going of on your own. You can only start your own office and truly be independent if you become a broker. This requires a certain number of years experience as an agent and another licensing test.
