M asked:
I understand there are a number of schools and teachers to help one learn to take the real estate agent test. How long on average does the studying take to know enough to take the test? I’m in California.

A good 90 days plus. It depends on you and how fast you go. You have to enroll in a real estate school take the exams, pass, then you apply for your state test w/the Department of Real Estate which can take about 4 weeks to get a date. Your looking at maybe 4 months.

You go to real estate school and pass the class which is very difficult some people had to take the course twice to pass. You must learn the legal descriptions of properties. It is a good field to go into only there is a lot of competition. The real estate exam is also difficult and costly, prices varies by state. If you have the gusto go for it.
